Spring Training 2001
On the mounds at Dodgertown stood a pretty cool line-up of right handed pitchers….Darren Dreifort, Chan Ho Park, Ramon Martinez, Andy Ashby and Kevin Brown. Coaches Dave Wallace, Jim Colborn and Jim Riggleman watch over the session held in the strings area.
What was so cool for me was that everyone was in the Dodgers Classic home white uniforms this day instead of the blue jerseys that are worn the rest of the time.
I appreciate the Dodgers who continue to wear the home whites for Spring Training home games and regular season home games. A lot of teams have turned to the alternative dark tops which to me, look like a softball league.
All of my peers appreciate it too. Sports stock photographers from all over Florida use to make the drive to Dodgertown for our home games to get our team in white because no other teams were wearing their real home jerseys.
